Couples Therapy

Many people attend for counselling support when their difficulty is affecting their day-to-day lives and or relationships. The role of the counsellor is to support the client to explore aspects of their life and feelings, by encouraging them to talk honestly and without fear of being judged. “Person-centred couple therapy is a process that draws on each clients’ ability to find their own way to understand, express themselves, contribute, connect and sometimes, forgive” (O’Leary, 2012, p. 95).
